What Do You Want from China?

It's time to tell me. What do you want? Do you want exotic Chinese cigarettes? The most expensive packs I can find are $5/pack (which is 10x as expensive as the cheapest packs I can find at 50c/pack). Do you want art? Clothing? Memorabilia (Chairman Mao stuff)? Time to tell me. I want to shop for you guys, but you're making it hard by being so quiet.

So leave some comments.

Well you already have the little red book, and beautiful silk could be nice...but aside from that, photos and stories and constant communication so we can all live this trip with you is just grand!!!!~

I'd like to hear more Chinese viewpoints. These observations are fascinating.

See you in a little over a week!

From China, I want you to tell me if you can see my blog:

http://www.urbanhonking.com/tolerable/

i'm warming it up for the full diary.

Are all blogger blogs blocked, or just you and others who use words like China and no democracy in close proximity?

Art would be cool, in addition to the already-requested photos and stories.

erik my dear, i will probably not make this super easy! If you, at some point in your travels, see something that makes you think "laura would find this amusing" or "this would make laura smile", then get it for me! If not, no biggee! or, um, as backup, some kind of pretty small wall hanging or some other house decoration that i can point at and tell people came all the way from china with my dear friend erik?

*hugs*
